Revisions to wireless access services and call routing - local routing number absent service

1.

The Commission approves on an interim basis, with the changes noted below in a) and b), Combined Telecom Inc.'s (CTI's) and Combined Xchange Telecom Inc.'s (CXT's) proposed tariff amendments for:

 

a) revised rates for trunk-side interconnection arrangements for wireless service providers filed pursuant to Order CRTC 2000-395, dated 12 May 2000; and
 

b) revised rates for call routing - local routing number absent service filed pursuant to Order CRTC 2000-394, dated 12 May 2000.

2.

Delete "note 1" in Item 402(1)(b).

3.

Replace Item 403(4)(a)(i) with the following: "WSP STP to the company gateway in multiples of 4".

CTI and CXT filed their applications on 28 September 2000 to revise Items 403 and 501 of their General Tariffs. Bell Canada, on behalf of itself, Island Telecom Inc., Maritime Tel & Tel Limited, MTS Communications Inc., NBTel Inc. and NewTel Communications Inc. submitted comments on 20 October 2000.
