Telecom Order CRTC 2000-11

Ottawa, 14 January 2000
On 23 December 1999, NewTel Communications Inc. filed, on behalf of Island Telecom Inc., NBTel Inc. and NewTel Communications Inc., an application to introduce Section 6, Promotions, to the APTC Regional Services Tariff, as well as a sales promotion, from 22 January to 31 March 2000, whereby residence individual line customers who are new subscribers to one or more selected optional features may choose to obtain one of these features at a promotional rate for a period of two months from the service installation date.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The application is approved on an interim basis effective 22 January 2000.
