Ottawa, 8 February 2000
Pursuant to Telecom Order CRTC 99-1189, TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc. filed an application on 11 January 2000 for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 185, reflecting that competitive pay telephone service providers are not permitted to limit the length of local public pay telephones calls placed from the company's pay telephone basic access line service.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The application is approved effective 10 February 2000.
