On 24 November 1999, Northern Telephone Limited filed an application for approval of revisions to General Tariff Section N210, consolidating the Centrex Service rate groups: (1) to standardize the rates across all of its rate groups in order to simplify the Centrex service offering and to modify certain optional services; (2) to extend the availability of Centrex service across all of its exchange with the exception of those exchanges where suitable facilities do not exist; (3) to make Speed Call 10 part of the Centrex basic service features and to eliminate Speed Call 30 as a Centrex optional feature; (4) to de-standardize the monthly recurring rate for Large Organization Centrex and to offer a new standard rate across all rate groups; (5) to introduce Centrex Value Package service, which offers a non-customizable set of station features that is limited to those most commonly used (Call Forward, Personal Speed Call 10, Call Transfer/Three Way Calling, Group Intercom/Page, Permanent Hold, Network Class of Service and Ring Again), a maximum of fifteen locals, and integrates access to the public switched telephone network.
