The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 15 August 2000, at the Commission Headquarters, 1 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, to consider the following: |

Application (200014994) by CAMERON BELL CONSULTANCY LTD., Box 10005 Pacific Centre, #3030 - 700 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V7Y 1A1, for a broadcasting licence to carry on an English-language low power FM radio programming undertaking at Burnaby (Broadway/Lougheed Highway). The new station would operate on frequency 88.9 MHz (channel 205LP) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts. |

The applicant is proposing to provide information related to the construction of the Broadway/Lougheed Corridor. This construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2001. |
|
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable. |
