The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the radiocommunication distribution undertakings listed in the appendix to this decision, from 1 September 2000 to 28 February 2001, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licences. |

The Commission announced applications for authority to acquire the assets of these undertakings in Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2000-7 dated 14 July 2000. However, it will not be able to rule on these applications before the licences of the undertakings expire. The administrative renewals released today will enable the Commission to issue decisions on these applications. |
