The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CKWS-TV Kingston and its transmitters CKWS-TV-1 Brighton, CKWS-TV-2 Prescott and CKWS-TV-3 Smiths Falls, from 1 March 2000 to 31 August 2000, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence. |

The Commission has granted a further administrative renewal in order to consider the applications by Corus Entertainment Inc. (Corus) to acquire the assets of these and other radio and television stations licensed to Power Broadcasting Inc. These applications are on the agenda of the 21 February 2000 Public Hearing to be held in Vancouver. |
