Licence renewal | |

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Pemberton, from 1 September 2000 to 31 August 2007, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued. |

The Commission approves the application to amend the licence by deleting the following programming services: |
WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo, Ohio WTVS (PBS) Detroit, Michigan The Sports Network (TSN) WDIV (NBC) Detroit, Michigan CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver CITV-TV (IND) Edmonton |

The licensee will continue to distribute the progamming of CISN-FM Edmonton. |

Section 22 of the Broadcasting Act states that the Commission may not renew a licence unless the Department of Industry has certified that the licensee has been or will be issued a broadcasting certificate. Accordingly, this renewal is subject to the issuance of technical certification by the Department of Industry. |
