One-year administrative renewal for CJON-TV |

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CJON-TV St. John's and its transmitters, from 1 September 2000 to 31 August 2001, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence. |

The decision released today does not dispose of any substantive issues that may exist with respect to the renewal of this licence. When the licence renewal application is filed, it will be announced and interested parties will then have an opportunity to comment. |
