Decrease in power for CFMU-FM |
The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CFMU-FM Hamilton by decreasing the effective radiated power from 250 watts to 166 watts. |
The licensee also proposes to relocate CFMU-FM's transmitter a distance of 2.5 kilometres to the existing CIOI-FM site at Mohawk College. |
The licensee states that these changes, including the higher elevation of a new directional antenna would provide a better quality service to the City of Hamilton. |
The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes. |
