Licence amendment that will allow the licensee to continue channel sharing with various programming services |
In Public Notice CRTC 1999-186 dated 19 November 1999, the Commission announced an amendment to section 7 of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations. The amendment, which came into force on 1 March 2000, narrows the conditions under which a broadcasting distribution undertaking may alter or delete a programming service that it distributes. |
In PN 1999-186, the Commission invited licensees currently altering or deleting a programming service in accordance with channel-sharing agreements to apply for authorization to continue doing so. The applicant submitted these applications in response to that public notice. |
