Decision

Ottawa, 22 March 1999
Decision CRTC 99-69
Michel Mathieu, on behalf of a company to be incorporated
Saint-Constant, Quebec - 199808268
Application processed by
Public Notice CRTC 1999-21
dated 5 February 1999
Change of frequency and decrease in night-time power for CJMS
1.  The Commission authorizes Michel Mathieu, on behalf of a company to be incorporated, to amend the technical parameters for CJMS Saint-Constant by changing the frequency from 1320 kHz to 1040 kHz and decreasing the night-time transmitter power from 3,000 watts to 1,100 watts.
2.  The Commission notes that these changes reflect the as-built technical facilities of the undertaking, which is not yet in operation. It further notes that the authorized day-time transmitter power will remain unchanged at 5,000 watts.
3.  The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
4.  The Commission reminds the licensee that the technical parameters approved in this decision must be implemented within the period for construction and implementation of the undertaking approved in Decision CRTC 98-456 dated 28 September 1998.
