Transfer of control

The Commission announces that it has approved, by Letter of Authority A99-0043 dated 3 May 1999, applications to transfer effective control of Radio MF C.I.E.L. (1981) inc., licensee of the radio programming undertaking CIEL-FM Longueil, and Diffusion Laurentides inc., licensee of the radio programming undertaking CIME-FM Saint-Jérôme and its transmitters. Following this transaction, all of the issued and outstanding shares of the licensees will be transferred to Diffusion Métromédia CMR inc., a company ultimately controlled by Pierre Béland.
