Transfer of shares resulting in a change of control

The Commission announces that it has approved, by Letter of Authority A98-0162 dated 23 December 1998, a change in the control of Télécâble Provincial inc., licensee of the cable distribution undertakings serving the above-mentioned localities, through the transfer of 33% of all Category A shares to the Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (the Fund). Following this transaction, Serge Hudon, Capidem Québec enr., a general partnership, and the Fund will jointly control the undertakings.
