1. MELITA AND SELKIRK, Manitoba |
Applications (199804737, 199804654) by SKY CABLE INC., 2940 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7B 3Y3, to amend the broadcasting licences of its MDS radiocommunication distribution undertakings. The licensee is proposing to add transmitters at Melita and Selkirk with effective isotropic radiated powers of 0.57 and 0.44 watts respectively. |
The licensee indicated that these transmitters are needed to fill in areas not well covered by the existing transmitters. |

Applications (199806915, 199806882, 199806874) by IMAGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS INC., P.O. Box 250, Yorkton, Saskatchewan, S3N 2V7, to amend the broadcasting licences of its MDS radiocommunication distribution undertakings. The licensee is proposing to add transmitters at Duff, Elstow and Spiritwood Acres with effective isotropic radiated powers of 2.8, 0.84 and 0.56 watts respectively. |
The licensee indicated that these repeaters are needed to fill in areas not well covered by the existing transmitters in Yorkton and Grenfell (for Duff and Spiritwood Acres) and at Aberdeen (being relocated to Vanscoy) and Allan Hills (being relocated to Kenaston). |
