On 20 January 1999, TELUS Communications Inc. filed an application for approval of General Tariff Item 285, Centrex Voice Activated Dialing Service, which enables Centrex users to place a telephone call by speaking the name or the telephone number of the person they wish to call into the telephone hand set or the telephone set microphone. |
