Telecom Order CRTC 99-313
By affidavit dated 10 June 1998, Municipal Telecommunications Inc. (Municipal Tel) applied for contribution exemption for Centrex administrative circuits in the 519-743 exchange.
File No.: 8626-M17-04/98
1.By letter dated 20 October 1998, Bell Canada (Bell) stated that the Commission should defer a ruling with respect to Municipal Tel's application pending disposition of Bell's Part VII application with respect to Municipal Tel dated 14 November 1997.
2.By letter dated 23 February 1999, Bell stated that the Commission denied Bell's request to revoke contribution exemption with respect to administrative circuits in its letter dated 12 February 1999. Bell stated that in light of this determination, these circuits appear to be eligible for exemption. Bell stated that the affidavit meets the evidentiary requirements for such exemptions. Accordingly, Bell agreed with the requested exemption from the period of installation to the date of transfer of service to another reseller.
3.The Commission finds that the affidavit meets the evidentiary requirements.
4.In light of the foregoing, Municipal Tel's application is approved from the period of installation to the date of transfer of service to another reseller such that no contribution is payable in this period.
