Telecom Order CRTC 99-281

 

On 19 February 1999, Télébec ltée filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 204 « Service Megalink de base » (Primary Megalink Service), proposing, to reintroduce the initial Megalink Service for a transitional period under the same terms and conditions, as « Megalink de base » (Primary Megalink). The service, which was changed in November 1998, will remain unchanged, but will be renamed « Service Megalink évolué » (Enhanced Megalink Service). As of 16 April 1999, the Primary Megalink Service will not be offered for new installations, additions or changes and, as well, all Primary Megalink customers will have to migrate to Enhanced Megalink at the time of contract renewal.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
