On 5 July 1999, Sogetel inc. (Sogetel) filed an application for approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 2.1.1, reflecting the criteria related to establishing Extended Area Service links. |

1.In its application, Sogetel proposed to adopt the Bell Canada (Bell) and Québec-Téléphone criteria for establishing Extended Area Service links. |
|
|
2.Sogetel mentioned that the Commission had recently approved an application by Québec-Téléphone to match the Bell criteria. |
|
|
3.Sogetel said that its territory was adjacent to that of Bell and Québec-Téléphone. |
|
|
4.On 9 September 1999, Sogetel answered the Commission's questions. In its reply, Sogetel asked the Commission to amend the company's proposal concerning the $1 referendum threshold so that it exactly matches the Québec-Téléphone criteria. |
|
|
5.In light of the foregoing, the Commission approves, as of the date of this Order, Sogetel's Tariff Notice 82 as amended by the letter from the company dated 9 September 1999. Sogetel is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages in accordance with this Order. |
