Haliburton has also applied to convert these AM stations to FM. It is proposed that CHNO operate on frequency 103.9 MHz (channel 280C1) with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts, and CHYC operate on frequency 98.9 MHz (channel 255A) with an effective radiated power of 1,000 watts respectively.
|
Upon implementation of the FM licences, the AM transmitters CHNO and CHYC would simulcast all the programming of the FM stations for a "phasing-in-period" of no longer than three months from implementation of the FM licences.
|
