Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1999-3 dated 24 March 1999 relating to its Public Hearing to be held at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:

CBC Renewal Hearing
|
|
he Commission has extended the intervention deadline to 19 May 1999 solely with respect to the proposed changes announced by CBC Newsworld on 6 May 1999.
|
|
The CRTC has also directed the CBC to respond to certain questions regarding the impact of its announcement by 12 May 1999. The Commission's letter, and the CBC's response, will be placed on the CBC Newsworld public file.
|
|
The procedures for filing interventions remain those set out in Notice of Public Hearing 1999-3.
