Licence amendments related to CKEM-TV-1
|
1. The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for television programming undertaking CKEM -TV Edmonton, as follows:
|
· by decreasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter CKEM-TV-1 Red Deer from 368,000 watts to 3,480 watts;
|
· by relocating the transmitter of CKEM-TV-1 to a location 22.7 kilometers south-east of the presently authorized site; and
|
· by changing the channel from 20 to 4.
|
2. The licensee indicated that the changes will improve coverage to the east. The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
