Addition of KREM-TV (CBS) and KXLY-TV (ABC) Spokane, and deletion of WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo and WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit
1. The Commission approves the application to amend the Class 2 licence for the cable distribution undertaking serving Taber, as follows:
· by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the distribution of WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo, Ohio and WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit, Michigan, received via Cancom; and
· by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, the programming services of KREM-TV (CBS) and KXLY-TV (ABC) Spokane, Washington, as part of the basic service.
2. The licensee may receive any authorized signals over the air, or from any licensed or exempted Canadian broadcasting distribution undertaking authorized to provide signals to other broadcasting distribution undertakings. The Commission notes that the licensee will receive the above-noted signals via satellite.
