Craig Broadcast Alberta Inc.
Relocation of transmitter and decrease in power for CKAL-TV-1
1. The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CKAL-TV Calgary, by decreasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter CKAL-TV-1 Lethbridge from 51,500 watts to 46,600 watts.
2. The licensee also proposes to relocate the CKAL-TV-1 transmitter to a site approximately 10.7 kilometres south of the authorized site. The Commission notes that these changes will improve the quality of the signal to the south.
3. The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned changes.
