  Licence amendment for CBFT
  1. The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the French-language television programming undertaking CBFT Montréal, by authorizing the licensee to add a transmitter at Whitehorse, operating on channel 7 with an effective radiated power of 474 watts.
  2. This authority will only be effective and the licence will only be amended when the new transmitting facilities are constructed and ready to begin operation. If the transmitting facilities are not constructed and ready to operate within twelve months of today’s date, extensions to this time frame may be granted provided that the licensee applies in writing to the Commission before the 12-month period or any extension of that period expires.
