  The Commission has received the following applications:

  Application (199709052) by FUNDY CABLE LTD./LTÉE, 199 Chesley Drive, Saint John, New Brunswick, E2K 4S9, for authority to distribute, as part of the basic service of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Brown's Flat, the signals of WLBZ-TV (NBC) Bangor, WMEM-TV (PBS) Presque Isle, Maine and CFTF-TV-1 (TQS) Edmundston, New Brunswick, received via microwave/fibre optic.
  The licensee also proposes to delete the local head end of the Brown's Flat undertaking. This undertaking will now be interconnected, via fibre optic, to the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Saint John, also owned by Fundy Cable Ltd./Ltée.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
  Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
