The Commission has received the following
applications: |

1. MONTRÉAL AND LAVAL, Quebec |
|
Applications (199716825, 199716833) by VIDÉOTRON
LTÉE and CF CABLE TV INC. to amend the broadcasting licences of the cable
distribution undertakings serving Montréal and Laval, as follows: |
|
a) (Vidéotron ltée) by adding a condition of
licence relieving the licensee of the requirement that it distribute the
local radio stations CHAA-FM Longueuil, CKOD-FM Valleyfield, CHAI-FM
Châteauguay, CFEI-FM Saint-Hyacinthe, CJSO-FM Sorel and CIMO-FM Magog,
Quebec, throughout its entire authorized service area, pursuant to section 22
of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations. Except for station
CKOD-FM which would not be distributed, the licensee proposes to distribute
the other stations in limited areas only; and |

b) (CF Cable TV inc.) by adding a condition of
licence relieving the licensee of the requirement that it distribute the
local radio stations CHAA-FM Longueuil, CKOD-FM Valleyfield, Quebec and
CFLG-FM Cornwall, Ontario, pursuant to section 22 of the Broadcasting
Distribution Regulations. |

below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays; |

- your intervention should clearly identify the
application and indicate whether you support or oppose the
application, or if you propose changes to it, with facts and grounds
therefor. In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of
the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why
your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary; |

Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without
further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been
followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural
