The Commission has received the following
applications: |

1. CHIBOUGAMAU AND MONTRÉAL, Quebec |
|
Application (199712592) by the CANADIAN
BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the
(Television) programming undertaking CBFT Montréal, as follows: |
|
- by decreasing the effective radiated power of
the transmitter CBFAT Chibougamau from 665 to 575 watts; and |
|
- by changing the current contours of the
transmitter CBFAT Chibougamau. |
|
The licensee states that the proposed changes
will have no impact on the population served. |

2. CHIBOUGAMAU AND MONTRÉAL, Quebec |

Application (199712584) by the CANADIAN
BROADCASTING CORPORATION to amend the broadcasting licence of the
(television) programming undertaking CBMT Montréal, as follows: |
|
- by relocating the transmitter site of CBMCT
Chibougamau to the existing site of CBFAT Chibougamau; |
|
- by decreasing the effective radiated power of
the transmitter CBMCT Chibougamau from 276 to 238 watts; and |
|
- by changing the official contours of the
transmitter CBMCT Chibougamau. |
|
The coverage area would change, however, the
licensee stated that there will be no change in the population coverage. |
