CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR A BROADCASTING LICENCE TO CARRY ON AN FM (RADIO) PROGRAMMING UNDERTAKING TO SERVE LONDON AND AREA, ONTARIO

The Commission has received the following application:
|

Application (199802426) by TELEPHONE CITY BROADCAST LIMITED, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKPC-AM Brantford, by adding an FM transmitter approximately thirty kilometres south of Brantford at Simcoe, operating on a frequency of 98.9 MHz (channel 255A) with an effective radiated power of 1,090 watts.

The licensee states that the proposed transmitter will correct the night-time coverage deficiencies of the CKPC-AM service for the Simcoe/Port Dover/Delhi area.

Each paragraph of the document should be numbered. However, your intervention and the proof of service to the applicant will also have to be filed in hard copy;

- the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;

- your intervention should clearly identify the application and indicate whether you support or oppose the application, or if you propose changes to it, include the facts and grounds therefor. In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
