The Commission has received the following applications:
ONTARIO REGION
1.  GEORGETOWN, ACTON, MILTON AND SURROUNDING AREA, Ontario
PART OF METROPOLITAN TORONTO, PART OF MISSISSAUGA, PART OF THE TOWN OF MILTON, THE CITY OF BRAMPTON AND PART OF THE TOWN OF CALEDON, Ontario
a) Application (199805454) by HALTON CABLE SYSTEMS INC., 1603 Main Street West, Hamilton, Ontario, L8S 1E6, to change the authorized service area of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Georgetown and area, by adding a small area to the south of the Town of Milton currently licensed to Rogers Cablesystems Limited.
b) Application (199805462) by ROGERS CABLESYSTEMS LIMITED to change the authorized service area of the cable distribution undertaking serving part of Metropolitan Toronto, part of Mississauga, part of the Town of Milton, the City of Brampton and part of the Town of Caledon, by deleting a small area located south-west of the currently authorized service area being the same area referred to in (a) above.
Each of the foregoing applications is conditional upon the approval of the other.
It is noted that following this change of service area Rogers Cablesystems might no longer choose to carry CKCO-TV Kitchener in the Greater Toronto area.

2.  SIMCOE, Ontario
Application (199716924) by REDMOND BROADCASTING INC., CHRE-FM, Corbloc, 2nd Floor, 80 King Street, St. Catharines, Ontario, L2R 7G1, to amend the broadcasting licence for CHCD-FM Simcoe, by increasing the effective radiated power from 3,320 to 3,420 watts.
The applicant states that this change reflects the as-built parameters of CHCD-FM and that there is no significant change in the coverage area approved for the station.

·  your intervention should clearly identify the application and indicate whether you support or oppose the application, or if you propose changes to it, include the facts and grounds therefor. In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of a hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
 Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
