Telecom Order CRTC 98-870
On 31 July 1998, Teleglobe Canada Inc. filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to the International Operator Handled Service Tariff proposing to: 1) introduce a flat rate structure (00:00 - 24:00) for all destinations including an average rate reduction; 2) eliminate charges applied to each station to station call handled by a Canadian operator; 3) reduce from $6.40 to $5.80 the charge applied to each person to person call handled by a foreign operator; and 4) clarify the tariff to indicate that the station-to-station rates are rounded to the nearest six second interval.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 September 1998 are approved.
