Telecom Order CRTC 98-869
On 28 July 1998, Stentor Resource Centre Inc. (Stentor) filed, on behalf of and with the concurrence of all federally regulated Stentor operating companies, an application introducing Item 639, Billed Number Screening (BNS) Database Service, to the National Services Tariff, permitting Competitive Local Exchange Carriers and Wireless Service Providers to list the high level numbers and line level numbers for which they are responsible in Stentor's BNS database, consequently allowing them to place Collect and Bill-to-Third call billing restrictions on their end users' telephone lines.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 September 1998 are approved.
