Telecom Order CRTC 98-707
On 5 June 1998, Télébec ltée filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 3.3.18, "Les services ÉtoilesMC" (Smart Touch Services), changing the terms of its permanent promotional offer, "Offre de Bienvenue" (Welcome Offer) to offer three instead of two "services ÉtoilesMC" free of charge for a period of one month, as well as introducing "Service de courtoisie" (Courtesy Service), a promotional campaign providing, among other things, a free Vista 350 telephone on a trial basis to all customers bringing an individual line telephone set for repairs.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 8 September 1998 are approved.
