Telecom Order CRTC 98-566
By letter dated 8 May 1998, Marverick Communications (Marverick) requested an exemption from contribution charges with respect to a Centrex system in the St. Catharines exchange. Marverick provided an affidavit which affirmed that the system in question is being used solely to provide local or single-hop services.

1. By letter dated 21 May 1998, Bell Canada (Bell) stated that Maverick's (sic: should read Marverick) affidavit appears to satisfy the evidentiary requirements in this case. Accordingly, Bell agreed with the requested exemption.
2. The Commission is of the view that Marverick has met the Commission's evidentiary requirements for a contribution exemption and notes that Bell also agrees.
3. In light of the foregoing, Marverick's application is approved effective the date of the application (8 May 1998) pursuant to Effective Date of Contribution Exemptions, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 95-26, 12 June 1995.
