Telecom Order CRTC 98-288
On 6 February 1998, BC TEL filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 32 A.2, Basic Business Exchange Rate Schedule, to restructure local business rates from rate groups to rate bands, including some rate increases and decreases, in order to move towards cost-based pricing.

1. On 9 February 1998 and 5 March 1998, the Commission received comments from the Cariboo Economic Action Forum and the Tatlayoko Think Tank respectively.
2. BC TEL filed supplemental economic information on 13 March 1998 in response to the Commission's letter of 11 March 1998.
3. In light of the record of this proceeding, the proposed tariff revisions are approved.
