On 29 August 1996, Northwestel Inc. filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to restructure and reduce the rates for 800 Service (Canada & U.S.) and 800 Entry-Canada.

1. The proposed tariff revisions were approved on an interim basis on 20 November 1996 under Telecom Order CRTC 96-1313.
2. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions are approved on a final basis.
