Telecom Order

Ottawa, 23 December 1998
Telecom Order CRTC 98-1349
BC TEL has proposed tariff revisions under Tariff Notice (TN) 3886 dated 2 December 1998, for a promotional offer to business customers called "Multi-line Plus Bundle Promotion". In TN 3886A dated 9 December 1998, the company proposed to remove an option from the list of additional features to be made available to customers. BC TEL is also proposing to offer customers the promotional rates for a 12-month period from the customer's date of enrolment to the promotion.
File No.: TN 3886
1.The Commission is of the view that the combined enrolment period and reduced monthly rate period is too long. The Commission considers it appropriate that the total period not exceed 12 months.
2.In light of the above, BC TEL TNs 3886/A are approved effective 8 January 1999, subject to changes. Customers can enrol in the promotion during the proposed offer period, but the proposed promotional rates are to remain in effect for no more than seven months from the customer's date of enrolment.
