Telecom Order CRTC 98-1271
On 16 November 1998, BC TEL filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 32, introducing a promotion to waive the service charge applicable to the provision of multi-line or individual business lines when: (1) a customer who has an existing residential line subscribes to a new business line at the same address; or (2) a customer upgrades from a residence to business line.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions are approved on an interim basis.
