Telecom Order CRTC 98-1259
On 8 December 1997, Island Telecom Inc. (formerly The Island Telephone Company Limited) (Island Tel) filed an ex parte application for approval to introduce General Tariff Item 1115, Community Unlimited, a new toll service plan which provides residential and single line business customers, who select Island Tel as their Primary Interexchange Carrier for message toll services, with unlimited calling on a per line basis to any exchange within a 30 mile radius of their home exchange for a flat rate of $7.95 per month.

1.The proposed tariff revisions were approved on an interim basis on 19 December 1997 under Telecom Order CRTC 97-1876.
2.The Commission received no comments with respect to this application.
3.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions are approved on a final basis.
