Telecom Order CRTC 98-1175
On 9 October 1998, The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay - Telephone Division filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to the Semi-Public Telephone Service section of the General Tariff, restructuring the amount to be guaranteed by a customer who subscribes to semi-public telephone service and increasing the rate from $0.77 a day to a monthly rate corresponding to the rate charged for single-line business access (including Touch-Tone and Relay Service), currently $27.53 a month, in order to better reflect the costs associated with providing semi-public telephone service.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 January 1999 are approved.
