Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1998-3 dated 14 May 1998 relating to its public hearing which will be held on 20 July 1998, at the Conference Centre, Portage IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:

Application (199800793) by LA MAISON DES JEUNES DE ST-RÉMI INC., on behalf of a company to be incorporated, for a broadcasting licence to carry on a low power French-language community (radio) programming undertaking at Saint-Rémi, operating on a frequency of 104.9 MHz (channel 285LP) with an effective radiated power of 1 watt.

The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable.
