Decision

Ottawa, 18 March 1998

Decision CRTC 98-83

Gretsinger Cablevision Limited

Spences Bridge, British Columbia - 199713764

Licence amendment

Following Public Notice CRTC 1998-1 dated 23 January 1998, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence of the cable distribution undertaking serving Spences Bridge, by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee of the requirement of section 32(1)(a) of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations, to distribute local station CJNA-TV-2 (CTV) Spences Bridge, in view of the poor reception quality of the signal. The licensee will distribute instead, CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver, received via satellite, as part of the basic service.

This decision is to be appended to the licence.

Laura M. Talbot-Allan
Secretary General
