Winnipeg and The Pas, Manitoba - 199800735
Increase in power for CBWIT
1. The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CBWT Winnipeg (the originating station), by increasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter CBWIT The Pas, from 288 watts to 720 watts.
2. The CBC indicated that the transmitter is unreliable and will be replaced. The increase in power in conjuction with the transmitter's replacement will improve the signal quality in the outlying communities surrounding The Pas.
3. The Commission authorizes the licensee to operate the undertaking on the basis of the contours and particulars resulting from the above-mentioned change.
