Licence renewal for CFFT-TV
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1998-67 dated 14 July 1998, the Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CFFT-TV Lutselk'e, from 1 September 1998 to 31 August 2005, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued.
2. This undertaking broadcasts the programming of the CBC Northern Television Service and programming originating from studios at Lutselk'e.
3. The licensee is relieved, by condition of licence, of the requirements of section 10 of the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987, with regard to the retention of program logs or records.
4. It is a condition of licence that the licensee adhere to the guidelines on the depiction of violence in television programming set out in the Canadian Association of Broadcaster's Voluntary Code Regarding Violence in Television Programming, as amended from time to time and accepted by the Commission.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
