Corporate reorganization
As outlined in Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1997-4-1 dated 2 May 1997, the Commission announces that it has approved, by Letter of Authority A97-0070 dated 12 June 1997, the application to effect a corporate reorganization and to wind up 9028-9125 Québec inc. and 9008-6802 Québec inc. into Le Groupe Vidéotron ltée (GVL). These two companies hold 63.56% and 36.44% respectively, of the shares of CF-12 inc., the company resulting from the privatisation of the company formerly known as CFCF inc. The Commission notes that GVL will not exercise control of CF-12 inc. and that, following receipt of a supplementary agreement, the shares of CF-12 inc. will continue to be subject to the voting trust agreement dated 14 May 1996, as amended by the supplementary agreement dated 18 June 1997.
