Amendments to the Cable Television Regulations, 1986
The Commission has received the following applications:

NOTICE
1.  CONSTANCE BAY, Ontario
Application (199704325) by CONSTANCE BAY CABLE T.V. LTD., P.O. Box 310, Woodlawn, Ontario, N0G 3M0, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking by authorizing the licensee to interconnect its cable distribution undertaking through the use of optical fibre with Rogers Cablesystems (Ottawa).
The licensee proposes to replace WDIV (NBC), WJBK-TV (CBS), WXYZ-TV (ABC) and WTVS (PBS), Detroit, Michigan, received via Cancom, with WHEC-TV (NBC) WROC-TV (CBS), WOKR-TV (ABC), Rochester, New York and WNPI-TV (PBS), Norwood, New York received via an interconnection with Rogers Cablesystems (Ottawa).

2.  GRIMSBY, BEAMSVILLE, JORDAN AND VINELAND, Ontario
Application (199704706) by WESTERN CO-AXIAL LIMITED, 1603 Main Street West, Hamilton, Ontario, L8S 1E6, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving the above-noted localities by adding a condition of licence to be relieved of the requirement to distribute the signal of CBLT Toronto on an unrestricted channel, as set out in section 12 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986.

·  the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
·  your intervention should clearly identify the application and indicate whether you support or oppose the application, or if you propose changes to it, with facts and grounds therefor. In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of a hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
