Ownership structure

1. The Commission announces that it has approved, by Letter of Authority A97-0053 dated 16 May 1997, an application by Sportscope Television Network Ltd. (Sportscope) wherein Sportscope requested that it not be required to modify its ownership structure as approved by the Commission in Decision CRTC 96-610 dated 4 September 1996.

2. Consequently, Sportscope will continue to be owned 65.57% by CVG Programming Inc., which in turn is owned 50% by Western Co-Axial Limited and 50% by Clairvest Group Inc., 28.17% by First Control Corporation and 6.26% by Digimation Incorporated.
