Transfer of control
|
Consistent with the procedures outlined in Public Notice CRTC 1992-72 dated 2 November 1992 entitled A Review of the CRTC's Regulations and Policies for Radio, the Commission announces that it has approved, by Letter of Authority A97-0172 dated 15 December 1997, the application to transfer the shares held by Yvon Savoie, that is 70% of the issued and outstanding shares of Radio Port-Cartier inc., to the company's remaining shareholders. Following this transaction, Radio Port-Cartier inc., licensee of the radio programming undertaking CIPC-FM Port-Cartier, will be controlled by Vision Marine inc., which will hold 66 2/3% of the voting shares.
