The Commission has received the following applications:

1.  OTTAWA, Ontario
Application (199616752) by CHUM LIMITED, 299 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 2Z5, to amend the broadcasting licence of the television distribution undertaking CITY-TV-3 Ottawa, by decreasing the effective radiated power from 1,000,000 to 500,000 watts. The authorized transmitter site would be relocated to that of CFMT-TV-2, located east of Manotick at Herbert Corners.
The Commission notes that as a result of these changes, the Grade A & B coverage contours will be shifted approximately 13 km to the east.

Application (199618063) by EXPRESSVU INC., licensee of a national Direct-to-home (DTH) satellite distribution undertaking, for a change of control through the transfer of 31.173% of the voting interest of ExpressVu Inc., to BCE Inc., from Chantal Corriveau, Trustee on behalf of BCE Inc.
BCE Inc. currently owns 39.497% of the voting interest of ExpressVu Inc., therefore, approval of this transaction would result in BCE Inc. holding 70.670% of the voting interest of the licensee. The ownership would go from a situation where no clear cut control exists to one where BCE Inc. would have legal control of ExpressVu Inc.

Application (199617370) by ODYSSEY TELEVISION NETWORK INC. to amend the broadcasting licence of its ethnic specialty programming undertaking, by authorizing the distribution of its service across Canada
Presently, this service is authorized for regional distribution to serve Ontario. The nature of the service, aimed at the Greek-language community, will not be affected.
