On 30 May 1997, The New Brunswick Telephone Company, Limited (NBTel) filed an ex parte application proposing the addition of a Call Answer Service promotion under its Special Services Tariff Item 2013.3 B, Loyalty Plan.

1. On 2 July 1997, the Commission directed NBTel to place the abridged version of Tariff Notice 646 on the public record as it considered inappropriate to proceed the application on an ex parte basis. NBTel complied with the Commission's direction on 7 July 1997.

2. In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

The proposed tariff revisions are approved on an interim basis.
